What is involved in a session with
the hypnotherapist?

Will I quack like a duck?
Our goal is change, not entertainment. In fact:
- Hypnosis is voluntary. You allow yourself
to be hypnotized and have the power to come out at any
time.
- The trance state of hypnosis is probably
familiar to you. You may have experienced this state of
inner absorption while relaxing, meditating or even reading
a good book.
- Hypnosis allows us to bypass the conscious
mind to access the powerful and highly suggestible subconscious.
Once you are in hypnosis I give your subconscious the suggestions
that will motivate you to make the positive change that
you desire.

Hypnosis for pregnancy and postpartum
Individual sessions assist women to:
- cope with medical conditions,
- connect with the baby,
- turn a breech baby
- release fears, and
- let go of disappointing birth memories.
How long is a hypnosis session?
- The first session takes 90 minutes.
- Follow-up visits are 60 minutes.
How many sessions will I need?
- Plan to attend a minimum of three sessions
as trance is a learned experience and reinforcement is
necessary for best results.
- Long term change such as weight loss will
take more sessions.
